Annual Frigid Encounter

Wednesday, January 1, 2025
The Annual HARTA Frigid Encounter will again take place on New Year’s Day. After a group photo of the HARTA team is taken the group will depart from Schenkel Station, 11 W. State Street Huntington, at 2 p.m. This is a free walk/run/bike event along the trails in Huntington. They will plan on returning to Schenkel Station around 3 p.m. to enjoy the warmth and a little hot chocolate to celebrate the accomplishment. Prepare for the weather and come out to join like-minded individuals as we begin working on our New Year’s Resolutions. Helmets are required for all bike riders.

Huntington County Coffee Connections

Come and enjoy a fresh cup of coffee, conversation, and make a connection at the popular Huntington County Coffee Connections. This event is held on the first Wednesday of each month at the Habecker Dining Commons on the campus of Huntington University beginning at 8 a.m.

Entrepreneurial 'Meet & Greet'

The Entrepreneurial Leadership Council, a committee of the Huntington County Chamber of Commerce, will hold its next Entrepreneurial ‘Meet & Greet’ on Wednesday, February 5, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., at East of Chicago Pizza, 111 E. 1st Street, Warren. The gathering will feature guest speakers Terry L. Miller, Mike Ralston and Bruce and Zane Herr. Miller owns the East of Chicago Pizza in Warren. Ralston is the owner of Aerial Ag in Warren, and Bruce and son, Zane Herr are the owners of Dash 90 Wines in Warren. If you are an entrepreneur, aspiring entrepreneur, own your own business, thinking about starting a business or simply interested in learning more about growing entrepreneurial wealth in Huntington County, this gathering is for you. Food will be provided by East of Chicago Pizza for this event.

Taste of Warren

The 2025 Taste of Warren is going to be another amazing event filled with great food, drinks, entertaining music, a memorable raffle and more. The event will showcase the local food and drink establishments, including East of Chicago Pizza, El Guerro, Son-Rise Bakery, and Wagon Wheel Cafe. In addition, Dash 90 Wines will offer wine and slushy tastings. Mark your calendars! You won’t want to miss this! Tickets are on sale through our Eventbrite event and will be on sale at Bippus State Bank in Warren soon. Ticket purchase includes food and wine or slushy tastings. You may purchase wine. There will be water and pop available.
